Tuesday 24th September: MPHT Local History Talk by Irene De Boo 'Cocoa on the Cut' in Moor Pool Main Hall. Refreshments from 6.30pm, talk from 7pm. £3 per person (talk only).

From its early days, Cadbury made extensive use of canals and navigable rivers to transport ingredients and other essential materials like coal and timber. The company had a fleet of narrow boats and the last 'cocoa run' took place in the early 1960s.This talk will look at how narrow boats moved on the Midland canal network to transport cocoa, sugar and milk to Bournville, resulting in that lovely  product - the Cadbury milk chocolate bar!Cocoa on the cut

Sunday 29th September: Get outdoors with the return of Den Building in The Orchard area at Moor Pool. Have fun using natural materials to create your perfect den!
